Spinning is an ancient textile art in which plant, animal or synthetic fibers are drawn out and twisted together to form yarn. For thousands of years, fiber was spun by hand using simple tools, the spindle and distaff.

Jenni is a new mom and a founding member of the MHA. She studied communication disorders at App State and currently works at J Iverson Riddle Center. Jenni is also a master spinner! She conducted a similar workshop at the first MHA camping trip and it was a big hit!
